- Test Result!

The wierdest thing - i'm not sure if you read my post a few weeks ago about Ethan testing + for Psuedomonis - a very rare strain of it - well, i took him in last friday to be recultured to see if you grew the same thing and NOTHING! Not even the same strain. How cool is that. I am so happy and relieved right now - thanks for keeping us in your prayers!

Here is a picture of him doing his treatment a few days ago and one of my sweet Baylee on Fathers Day!! I need to go - she is yanking on my pants - i guess its nap time.

I can Fly!

Well - we had a crazy busy Father's Day weekend. Dean's family was involved in the opening of the Soleman Center in downtown Ogden. The new hotspot - they have a Golds Gym in there. The Grand opening was friday night - and Dean's cousin Casey and his wife were awesome enough to get us tickets (they were $25.00 a pop). They also gave us 2 slots for the sky adventure which is a wind tunnel and its kinda like sky diving. So Mason and I did it. It was so dang fun. I was so proud watching Mason do something so crazy!

We had a blast. Then we went and toured the new gym (makes me want to actually work out - maybe)! Then we took the kiddos to FatCats which is downstairs and did the bumper cars, played arcade games, ski ball and ate good food!

Saturday we spent the evening up at the property with Dad and Mom and Karie and her family - and of course the kids had fun getting dirty! We let them play in the river, they rode 4 wheelers and and played on the slide.

Sunday we spent with Dean's family. We are lucky to have 2 great fathers. And i am lucky that Dean is such a great dad to our kids. They just love him to death - and its to cute to watch him with his baby girl - he seriously can't get enough of her. So here are few pics from Fathers day - i'm mad i didn't get any with my Dad - i totally spaced it!

I finally did it!

I got the camera that i have drooling over today. I am so loving it - I got the Nikon D40 - with an extra lense (55-200mm). I tortured mom and the kids today taking pictures. I can totally tell a difference. I definatley have a lot of reading to do and need alot of practice but i can't wait to play. I got the kids thier own little cheap digi camera's - they were only $20 - but that may have been a mistake - they were worse than me running around taking pictures of everything - making me pose and smile! Now i know how they feel!

I'm going down to Salt Lake to get Ethan re-cultured tomorrow so i'm thinking maybe i will stop at the Children's museum down in Salt Lake and let the kids play. I won't know the results for another week - but i will keep you posted.

I got some fun stamps in the mail last week from http://www.thestampingstudio.com/. I don't know how many of you know but i have designed for http://www.theshakerbox.com for over a year now and we get sponsered by manufacturers and they send us thier product and we make LO's and upload them to the gallery to showcase thier products. Anyways - i got some great stamps so i used the doodles to make this LO of Baylee and Ethan.

I've been in the groove lately and scrapping alot lately! Well of to bed to dream of what i can take more pictures of tomorrow!!

The Call

Well i got the call today that for some reason i just never thought i would get. We've been so lucky with Ethan's health so far its almost just been put on the back burner - i forget that he suffers from the disease. So Clinic called today and said that he cultured Psuedemonis (SP??). They said that it was such a rare strain of it - the lab had never seen it before, so they want me to bring him back in and do another culture. So for the first time he will be on TOBY (an inhaled drug) that should take care of it. I know in the CF world this is a pretty minor thing and happens all of the time - and i should be thankful that this is our first time EVER to culture anything and he is 4 1/2. But for some reason it just hit home - kinda made it seem more real to me. I know i can do better on my part - i really have probably become way to lax - he is so healthy that like i said before - i forget, or just think oh it will be fine if we do this or that. Hmmm - definatley will be rethinking my ways.................

The boys caught some big fish! Ethan's was the biggest - he pulled this thing in with his 3ft Scooby Doo pole!

Baylee didn't love her life jacket - but took a few naps in it.

The boys swam in 50 degree water in their underwear! They had a ball.

Back from Vacation! Were back from Hebgen lake - 3 days later and i'm finally starting to feel like myself again. The house is back in order (not clean-just picked up). So last night i finally sat down and scrapbooked! I loved it! I'm not sure if i'm going to enter this one in MMM but so i'm not going to post it yet. So the kids absolutley loved the trip. We fished and cruised around in the boat, hung out around the campfire with Grandma and Grandpa Hurd, we even made it into West Yellowstone on Friday night and went to the Museums and the Grizzley Park. I wanted to go into Yellowstone Park but we really needed one more day. The Hotel was definatley the right decision for this trip. It worked out great - everyone slept well and had lots of FUN!! It was Beautiful there. I think we will be making that a yearly thing.
Okay I know my pictures are all over the place but i'm not sure how to organize them on the post. Still need to work on that.
Well - i'm off to the hospital - had some friends of ours in a motorcycle accident and i'm going up to see her .
One more thing - i have to add these little tidbits about Baylee so i will remember when she did things - she stood up on the stairs today - crawled over there and when i walked in the room was standing at the bottom step - so cute!! She's getting big to fast - its making me kinda sad.
