computer down

has been for a few days- had to take it into the GEEK SQAUD today - hopefully they can fix it soon and hopefully all my stuff is still on there! So won't be posting anything till i get it back. I need it more than ever right now trying to get ready to go croppin this weekend - i need to print pictures, get my journaling ready! Its driving me crazy - i know its sad that it takes me a week to get ready - but if i just go - i won't get anything accomplished! I have to have page kits put together so i don't have to use precious time doing it there! If i don't - i will still enjoy my time! I can't wait!

New favorite paper line

I have a serious fedish with paper as it is.....but i'm in LOVE with SEI's new Dill Blossom line. The texture is awesome and the line is so versatile and fun. Here are a few things i did yesterday with the product - I had purchased it - then got some of it in the Studio Calico Kit and then i mixed it up some product i recieved in the March Kit from The Shaker Box. The lace, some of the flowers and buttons and the green background paper are from the Shaker kit and then of course I used some yummy paper and flowers from Prima also. I did the layout for the Build a Page Contest over on Prima's Blog. Janine Langer is one of my all time favorite scrappers and she has put up the Sketch for April - couldn't resist! Then it was my dads birthday so I made a card for him with the same product.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

a layout to share

Just wanted to pop in and share this layout that I spaced uploading. It came back a few weeks ago from ST - it was published in the Embellish idea book in the acrylic/transparancy section. I stamped the circles with a cup and red paint onto the transparancy then attatched it to the layout. LOVE these pictures of baylee - she's so cute! I think alot of this was in a scrapologie kit i got a while back.

I am working on a mini album for my friend Kerri with March's Kit - these dream street papers are yummy and the metalic rubons from Heidi Swapp (even though i did have a hard time getting them to stick and stay to bazill cardstock - not sure if it was the texture or what - but it drove me nuts!) Hopefully i will be sharing soon - its hard for me to scrapbook when i have too - i want to do other things so i've had to lock myself in here so i can get it done and move on! Plus her birthday was 3 weeks ago - i know - bad friend -but the surgery threw me off a bit - thats a good excuse - right??

The scrapbook getaway for the girls got cancelled this weekend so we had to reschedule it for the first week in May - it won't get here soon enough - at least that gives me a little more time to prepare - can't wait!

We're BACK!

from the sand dunes and we had a great time. It wasn't very warm - but the sun was out and the kids didn't care. They seriously played ALL day long and loved every minute of it - they were seriously a different shade from all of the sand by the time they came in for the night. They all did well sleeping in the motorhome and baylee even napped a few times! So i'm going to share some pictures and then will be back tomorrow with some scrappy goodness!

This is (from left to right) Joni, Stephanie, Bobbie and me! They were camped over at Sand Mountain and came over with thier toys for a while - Bobbie let me drive her Rhino and we had Baylee strapped in the back and she had a ball - she loved it (of course there are not pictures of that because who runs the camera!)Dean on his new Motorcycle - first time at the dunes with itAll of the guys getting ready to go on a ride-Casey, Brett, Dean, Kent, Joe and Dustin

About the only picture I got of Ethan (on the left) playing this weekend - he was just in his own little world!Dean and baylee giving kisses - she would beg for him to take her on rides - and of course he could never say no!Baylee and I hanging around campDean and Mason by their bikes.........Going out to some flat ground for Mason to practice - he had a hard time in the sandMason finally got the hang of it.......Ethan rode it a few times but wrecked pretty hard and didn't want to get back on..... he's only 5 so maybe next time.

hopefully we will go again soon - it was so much fun. On the weight front - believe it or not - I have lost 8lbs just by watching what i eat - i must have been a pig! But i'm not starving anymore - i think my stomach has gotten used to smaller portions now. Now hopefully to add the excercise.

I will be back later to check out everyone elses blogs that ive neglected since i've been gone!

its the weekend.....

I am so glad its friday - this has been a long week! Maybe its because i am one year older! I had a birthday on Monday - turned 32 - feeling a little old. Then i started weight watchers (not really - just following the point system) because i'm goint to Lake Powell at the end of May and i havn't worn a swim suit in 7 years - since before i had Mason - pathetic i know - but i hate them. I bought 2 this last week from modbe - the are AWESOME - tankinis - and the top actually covers your body and then a skirt - so i am STARVING right now. I know its the wrong way to do it - but i still can't really excercise so i'm starting with food then i will add excersise and eat more later. i'm sure you wanted all that information! Ha! Had fun at the Spring FLing Crop at the shakerbox - alot of inspiration and great challenges. I did this one for the I'm to sexy for my BLING challenge. Some Jenni B paper and SEI goodness. Did if for the OLW challenge too. Got the kit from Scrapworld.

Hope everyone enjoys General Conference this weekend - i am excited to just chill at home with the famlily - we do have 2 soccer games tomorrow right in the middle - but will make it home for the 2nd broadcast. Then we are getting ready to head out to the Sand Dunes next week - its amazing how much preparation goes into a trip like that! Have a good day!
