Inspiration

Its amazing where you can find inspiration for a scrapbook Layout. Just wanted to share real quick a LO i made after i bought a shirt for Baylee - loved the design so i used it for a page about Baylee playing in the sun.

I'm sitting here right now wishing i could scrapbook because dean is gone - but i'm sooooooo sick to my stomach right now - so......... just wanted to share. I should be getting the new kit from the Shaker Box this week - can't wait to get started with it! Off to bed.............

Dean is leaving tomorrow to go hunting til Saturday night - that means late night scrapbooking for me. No feeling guilty because i need/or want to spend time with him! Kids in bed at 7:30 and then time for ME ME ME. Can't wait. Here is the family album for Dean for his birthday last week- it was so fun to make. I gave it to him at midnight - and he cried - probably because he was so tired - but he cried. It was sweet - makes all that hard work worth while.

Mason being back to school has been so hard for me. All day is soooooooo long for him to be gone. He comes home ornery - because he's tired and i have to entertain Ethan all day - which is a very difficult task. He starts pre-school next week which well be a big help. We had back to school night tonight and he thought he was pretty neat leaving the house - just him and I. I think having him go to school closer will be a good change - still love miss kim - but this will be so much easier for all of us.

I'll just leave with a little something Mason said this morning to Dean - "Dad - i just wish Baylee could stay a baby and me and Ethan could just stay kids and you and mommy can just stay the same forever". Nighty night.

Date night!

Just waiting patiently for dean to get home from work so we can go out tonight. We've been doing it every friday night for the last month and its been great for us. I just wanted to get on and post a few pictures. Here is the salsa

Still waiting patiently for MMM calls to go out! I'm surprised that they havne't yet - not that i'm expecting one - just can't wait to see the list - or at least KNOW they've gone out so i don't have to check the website every hour! I'm working on a mini album for Dean's birthday - i'm pretty happy with it so far - but i'm behind - his birthday is next wednsday and i've still got at least 4 more LO to do for it. I'll post it here when i'm done! Probably wont be back till next week!

the aroma

My house still smells like peppers onions and tomatoes boiling on the stove. Up till midnight doing salsa last night. I started yesterday morning chopping veggies - but between kids, lunch, naps and a few other things - it literally took me ALL DAY. But i'm a happy camper - i got 20 pints and 6 quarts. So hopefully this year i will ony have to do it one more time.

The Shaker Box kits are almost ready - i'm excited - should be getting mine in the mail next week. Can't wait to CREATE and show you all the goods. It will debut on the site on September 1st with our projects - so don't forget to check it out.

I went to a crop at The Scrapbook House in Logan Utah - with sister in-laws and thier friends. It was alot of fun - probably told some secrets i shouldn't have - but I was in ramblin mood - don't worry - they were about myself! Here are the 2 Layouts i did while up there - we stayed over night - scrapped til 3:30 in the morning.

I can beleive that summer is coming to an end. I'm really ready for school to start - i will be sad that MaSon will be gone all day - but we need some kind of structure around here again - no more staying in our jammies till 1 in the afternoon (yes they are still in their jammies)! I love fall - its my favorite - so bring it on!

The Scrapbook Crop is coming up - I will have to take a picture of my office so you can see all of the goodies - just got a big box today from Fancy Pants Designs . Holy moly - Jodi sent me some good stuff! So make sure if you want to come you sign up early so you can get a goodie bag. Just got food confirmed today - Costa Vida - you can choose from either a salad or burrito - chicken or sweet PORK! So yummy!

NEWS!

Good news here - many of you know that i design for www.theshakerbox.com . Well Michele - is going to be starting a KIT CLUB! I can't wait - the first kit is going to be in September and i've had a few sneaky peaky's and this woman has good taste. This kit seriously ROCKS. So be watching for the store and blog to go up soon so you can check it out.

I haven't been feeling to well the last week - won't bore you with details - but i've sure been a bear. My poor kids and hubby. Having some tests next week to find out whats going on. But havn't scrapped this week and am going crazy.

As for the CROP - i am in scrapbooking heaven - my office is full new scrapbooking goodies. I ordered about $600 worth of goodies from www.memory-works.com - i sell for them - and i am hoping to be able to sell most of it at the crop and give my 20% consultant discount to CF. So i am surrounded by goodies. Still working on donations and getting the word out - so let everyone you know about it. I'm getting excited!

Also went to my photography class this morning and wish i had more time to just drive around and take pictures. I'm loving the camera though and taking more pictures than ever. Off to go make dinner and hang out with the kids!
